Welcome
to Merit Boxers! My husband and I live in Georgetown,
Texas, just north of Austin. We have 2 children, Brad
and Todd, who have grown up with Boxers as an important
part of their lives. I had my first Boxer at age 8 and
have been hooked ever since.
In 2007, it
was time for a new hobby with passion and after
doing a lot of research for "the right puppy" we
found a wonderful show dog from Rocket Boxers
and Sam entered our lives. Rocket Boxers introduced
us to conformation, obedience and much more.
When Sam was about 18 months, we drove to Ohio
to pick up a lovely bitch, Nika.
Sam and Nika enjoy a full
dog's life: at shows with their wonderful handler,
Terri Galle. daily walks and good exercise,
protecting their domain from deer, wild turkeys
and any critters they see, manners and performance
classes and quiet family time when they share
the couch!
Merit Boxers is family based where
our show dogs are our loving companions, first and
foremost. We now plan on starting our breeding program
with goals on producing happy puppies with focus on
health, temperament and structural soundness.
