Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy 1 Gene Mutation (ARVC):
NEGATIVE
ARVC is a fairly common heart disease in the Boxer dog.
It is inherited and a mutation responsible for the gene
in some boxers has been identified.
Sam tested Negative for this mutated gene. That's the
best news possible!

Sam goes RWD under Judge, Mr. Joe Tacker, and on Sunday
Sam goes WD and BOW under Judge, Mrs. Christina Hubbell.
Sam was handled to these wins by Terri Galle. On Sunday
his mom, Kitty Barnes, took him back in for the Best
of Breed competition where he went BOW.
August 31,
2007, Monroe, LA. Sam wins his class and goes
on to win Best Boxer Puppy with some strong competition
under Judge Mrs. Mildred Bryant. Sam then goes on to
win a Working Group Puppy 3. Sam was handled to these
wins by Terri Galle. Sam continued to impress this
weekend, winning his class 3 out of 4 days.
July 14 & 15,
2007, San Antonio, TX. Sam goes RWD both days
under Judges Mr. William Bergum & Ms Dana Cline.
July 1,
2007, Oklahoma City, OK. Sam wins his first
point by going Winner's Dog and Best of Winner's under
Judge Mrs. Jean Fournier. Sam was beautifully presented
by Terri Galle. This was Sam's first show at the age
of 6 months and 5 days. It certainly seems as if Sam
is following in his dam's footsteps by winning in his
first show weekend. Way to go Sam!!!
